An explosion at a fireworks factory in India resulted in a fire breaking out. According to initial assessments, eight people died in the fire. The explosion occurred at a fireworks production facility in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, as reported by The Times of India. Residents in the Visakhapatnam city of Andhra Pradesh state mentioned that the fire engulfed the building within minutes after the fireworks at the facility detonated. Authorities reported that out of the fifteen people present at the facility during the fire, eight lost their lives, and seven were injured. Officials stated that the injured were in critical condition and warned that the death toll could rise. In a separate incident on April 1st, 21 people lost their lives in an explosion at a fireworks storage facility in the state of Gujarat in India.
