The current situation of the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March 2025 is at the forefront of farmers awaiting payments from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The Ministry covers 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost, providing support to farmers every month. So, when will the diesel and fertilizer support payments for March 2025 be made? The payments for diesel and fertilizer support were transferred to producers’ accounts by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry on February 21st. Accordingly, it is expected that the payments for diesel and fertilizer support for March will be deposited by March 21st. Farmers can check the status of diesel and fertilizer support payments through the e-Government platform using their Republic of Turkey ID numbers and passwords. Accessing the “Farmer Registration System” screen will be sufficient for producers. The support coefficient value for the 2025 production year has been set at 244 lira per hectare. The basic support will cover 50% of the diesel cost and 25% of the fertilizer cost for all products. Farmers in the second category producing barley and wheat will receive 317.2 lira per hectare, those in the third category producing sunflower, hazelnut, soybean, dry beans, and tea will receive 366 lira per hectare, and those in the fourth category producing cotton and rice will receive 549 lira per hectare in basic support.
