In the backyard of a house in the state of Kansas, a body of a young girl, believed to have died 4 years ago, was found. The decomposed state of the body made it impossible to determine the cause of death, but it was revealed that it belonged to 6-year-old Kennedy Jean Schroer. Schroer’s lifeless body was discovered in the backyard of her foster family’s home. Forensic experts announced conducting detailed examinations on the body, yet a clear conclusion regarding the cause of death could not be reached. The police mentioned in the preliminary forensic report that no visible injuries were observed on the body.
While no arrests have been made in connection to the incident, Christa Helm, claiming to be Kennedy’s biological mother, stated her demand for justice. In a press release by the Rose Hill Police Department, it was stated, “The majority of people are unable to comprehend why there have been no arrests made yet in this horrific incident. However, be assured that we are conducting the investigation flawlessly. We are all eager to find out what happened to this child. Detectives, law enforcement, social workers, psychiatrists, and many others are working diligently to seek justice for Kennedy.”

Christa Helm revealed that she lost custody of Kennedy in 2018, and the Schroer family adopted her in 2019. Helm expressed, “I thought my child would have a better life. I have no idea how things took such a horrifying turn.”
