Federal prosecutors in the United States have criticized rapper Sean Combs, also known as “Diddy,” for his lawyers’ efforts to request early disclosure of evidence, including the identities of the plaintiffs, in a case involving accusations of “sex trafficking, kidnapping, and bribery.” Prosecutors stated that such attempts could distort the case and jeopardize witness safety. Combs faces a potential 15-year prison sentence, with his trials scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
