Over the past year, the number of oil drilling rigs in the USA has decreased by 18. The price per barrel of Brent crude oil, which closed Thursday at $78.9, finished Friday at $78.08. Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil ended Friday at $74.38 per barrel, slightly lower than its Thursday close of $73.71.
