Last week witnessed a withdrawal of 21 billion liras from exchange-rate protected deposit accounts. The drop in exchange-rate protected TL deposits and participation accounts continues. Exchange-rate protected TL deposit and participation accounts decreased from 846.6 billion liras to 825.4 billion liras. During the same week, loans rose from 16.8576 trillion liras to 17.0607 trillion liras, while deposits increased from 19.8037 trillion liras to 19.9973 trillion liras.
