Death toll rises to 151 in floods and landslides in Nepal

The number of casualties in floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in Nepal has risen to 151 since last Friday. The South Asian country of Nepal has seen an increase in the number of fatalities due to floods and landslides caused by heavy rains since last Friday. Authorities announced that the death toll in floods and landslides has risen to 151, with 56 people still missing. In a landslide in an area on the main road leading to the capital Kathmandu, two passenger buses were buried under the ground, resulting in the loss of 16 passengers. The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Lakshmi Bhattarai, stated that schools in the affected areas have been suspended for 3 days due to floods and landslides.
