Death penalty for three perpetrators of the Rabbi’s murder

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sentenced three individuals to death for their involvement in the murder of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, an Israeli-Moldovan citizen who was found dead in the city of Al Ain in 2024. The UAE handed down the death penalty to three perpetrators in connection with Rabbi Tzvi Kogan’s murder that took place on November 24, 2024, in the city of Al Ain. In the trial, the fourth defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment. CAPTURED WITH A MIT OPERATION Running a market in Dubai since 2020, the killers of Rabbi Kogan, who was found dead on November 24, 2024, were determined to have fled the country, prompting the UAE government to seek assistance from Turkey. The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) initiated an operation to capture the perpetrators of the rabbi’s murder, with law enforcement intervening once the individuals landed in Istanbul. Police officers stopped the taxi the individuals were riding in for a traffic check, and upon verifying their identities, three individuals with criminal records in the UAE were apprehended. FORMER ISRAELI POLITICIAN BLAMED IRAN Former Israeli politician Ayoub Kara alleged that Iran played a role in the death of Tzvi Kogan, who had been living in the UAE for several years, while Iran denied the accusations. A statement from the Iranian Embassy in Abu Dhabi categorically denied allegations of intervention in the killing of an Israeli rabbi in the UAE.
