Mozambique is battling Cyclone Jude. According to the announcement made, it was reported that 16 people lost their lives due to the impact of the cyclone. The Mozambique National Institute of Disaster Risk Management and Reduction (INGD) stated that in the past week, 16 people lost their lives in the provinces of Zambezia, Nampula, Niassa, Cabo Delgado, Tete, and Manica due to Cyclone Jude, with 2 people missing. The announcement emphasized that 302,653 people and 65,064 families were affected by the cyclone, with 70,163 houses completely or partially destroyed, and 988 houses flooded.
