There has been a new development regarding retirement bonuses. Holiday bonuses will be discussed in the parliament on Monday. The retirement bonuses were last increased by 50% to 3,000 liras. So, how much will retirement holiday bonuses be in 2025? Here are the latest developments regarding bonuses… This year, Ramadan Bayram will be celebrated on March 29. Every year, holiday bonuses for retirees are received by many beneficiaries, including SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Retirement Fund pensioners, as well as widows and orphans receiving allowances, families of martyrs, veterans, and champion athletes. The study on retirement holiday bonuses will be discussed on Monday (March 10). An increase in bonuses to around 4,000 liras is expected. The amount of increase for this year’s holiday bonuses, which were raised to 3,000 liras with a 50% increase last year, has not been announced yet. The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, had announced that studies were being conducted to increase the bonuses. Last year, holiday bonuses started being deposited into retirees’ accounts a week before the holiday. Payments are expected to be made in the week of March 24-28 before the 2025 Ramadan Bayram. Bonuses will be transferred to accounts through the banks where retirees receive their pensions based on the last digit of their allocation number.
