According to a statement on the Competition Authority’s website, it was reminded that in January, an investigation was launched to determine whether the Competition Law was violated by exchanges of sensitive information among Abalıoğlu Lezita Gıda Sanayi AŞ (Lezita), As Ofis Damızlık Yumurta Yem Gıda San. ve Tic. AŞ, Banvit Bandırma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AŞ, Beypi Beypazarı Tarımsal Üretim Paz. San. ve Tic. AŞ (Beypiliç), CP Standart Gıda San. ve Tic. AŞ, Erpiliç Entegre Tavukçuluk Üretim Pazarlama ve Tic. AŞ, Gedik Tavukçuluk ve Tarım Ürünleri Tic. San. AŞ, Hastavuk Gıda Tarım Hayvancılık Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, Keskinoğlu Tavukçuluk ve Damızlık İşl. San. Tic. AŞ (Keskinoğlu) and Şenpiliç Gıda Sanayi AŞ (Şenpiliç). While the investigation process related to the white meat industry was ongoing, it was noted that settlement texts sent by Lezita, Beypiliç, Şenpiliç, and Keskinoğlu in May were accepted by the board, and the investigation was concluded with a settlement for these companies. It was stated that a 25% reduction in administrative fines was applied due to the settlements, with administrative fines of 244.6 million lira for Beypiliç, 108 million lira for Keskinoğlu, 277.9 million lira for Lezita, and 357.7 million lira for Şenpiliç, totaling 988.2 million lira for the 4 companies. The announcement highlighted that decisions were made in June to include Akpiliç Ticaret Ltd. Şti., Bakpiliç Entegre Tavukçuluk AŞ, and Bupiliç Entegre Gıda Sanayi Ticaret AŞ in the investigation. The statement concluded by mentioning the recent decision to include Ege-Tav Ege Tarım Hayvancılık Yatırım Tic. ve San. AŞ, operating under the Bolez brand in the sector, in the ongoing investigation process.
