Direct flights between Antalya and Rize are starting. The tickets for the inaugural flight on November 8th are now on sale. According to information from officials, flights will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Fridays throughout the winter season between Antalya Airport and Rize-Artvin Airport. The first flight from Antalya Airport to Rize-Artvin Airport will depart on November 8th at 08:30, with the return flight from Rize to Antalya scheduled for the same day at 10:55. It has been reported that there is a great interest in these flights initiated with the goal of further enhancing the touristic, economic, and cultural riches of the Black Sea and the Mediterranean regions. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, had announced 12 new domestic flight routes, including the one between Antalya Airport and Rize-Artvin Airport, during a meeting with airline representatives on October 3rd.
