The transfer of 5,602,227,506 lira support payments to farmers’ accounts was announced to start today. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, informed that the support payment of 5,602,227,506 lira will be transferred to farmers’ accounts today. Yumaklı shared a post on his social media account regarding the agricultural support payment, wishing for it to bring blessings and prosperity. He stated, “We are strengthening our farmers, providing a lifeline to Anatolia with the 5,602,227,506 lira support payment we are transferring to our farmers’ accounts today.” According to the information included in the post, the support amounts were determined as 5,442,194,447 lira for diesel and fertilizers, 22,701,971 lira for rural development investments, 3,957,819 lira for certified seedling production, 112,096,810 lira for animal disease compensation, 18,248,925 lira for animal genetic resources, 2,592,534 lira for certified seed production, and 435,000 lira for waste. Diesel and fertilizer payments will be made according to the schedule specified in the post, while other supports will be transferred to farmers’ accounts in a single payment.
