HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED? When calculating gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey, the Refinery Sales Price excluding VAT is obtained by adding the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) and Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) fee to the duty-free refinery price. In calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, the duty-free refinery ceiling sales price is obtained by tracking the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily Dollar exchange rate to a certain price change difference.
