Due to the strict immigration policies of the Donald Trump administration in the United States, citizens of different countries are on edge. Recently, a Canadian politician warned that Canadians and Europeans are also at risk of being deported. The Trump administration is sending immigrants it deems guilty to a mega prison in El Salvador.

Canadian parliament member Charlie Angus has cautioned Canadians and Europeans living in the US. Following the deportation of 238 Venezuelan citizens to the mega prison in El Salvador, it was claimed that they are also under the same risk. Angus stated, “We know Trump can do this, there is no reason why a Canadian, a German, or someone from the UK couldn’t be taken and deported to a detention camp in El Salvador.”

“CANADA WON’T KISS THAT THUG’S RING” A Canadian politician advocating for not taking a single step back emphasized the need for Canada to stand firm in these times. He urged people not to travel to the US, to continue the boycott, to remain strong because Canada will never kiss that thug’s ring.

“A COMPLETE CIRCUS” Angus is one of the names who frequently criticizes Trump harshly. Most recently, commenting on Trump’s extensive tariffs and the resulting economic turmoil, he remarked on the US economy, stating, “It’s turning into a complete circus.” The Canadian member of parliament also criticized Trump’s decision to normalize relations with Russia amidst the ongoing war environment in Ukraine.
