Leaders of Jordan, Egypt, and France have called for a ceasefire in Gaza and for the halt of attacks on civilians. Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and French President Emmanuel Macron met in Cairo, Egypt’s capital, for a trilateral summit on Gaza. During the meeting of leaders from Jordan, Egypt, and France, it was emphasized that the international community should pressure Israel to stop its attacks on Gaza, immediately return to the ceasefire agreement, and take steps to implement this agreement. The meeting highlighted the deepening crisis faced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip due to Israel’s closure of all supply routes and obstruction of humanitarian aid entry, underscoring the urgent need to deliver sufficient humanitarian aid to the region. Jordan and Egyptian leaders stressed the importance of European Union (EU) countries, including France, uniting in international efforts and making joint efforts to rebuild the Gaza Strip. French President Macron, recalling the significance of Jordan and Egypt’s support for the rights of the Palestinian people, stated that “France is ready to do everything necessary to find a political solution to the Palestinian issue and ensure calm.”
