The holiday bonus that 16 million retirees eagerly awaited has been announced. AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler reported that retirees’ holiday bonus has increased from 3,000 lira to 4,000 lira. Just like every year, the retirement bonuses will be deposited into accounts before the holiday.
The final decision has been made regarding the increase in the holiday bonus for millions of retirees. The figure has been clarified today. The current holiday bonus of 3,000 lira has been raised by 33% to 4,000 lira. A bill, which includes raising the retirement holiday bonus to 4,000 lira and adjustments related to birth support, has been submitted to the Turkish Parliament. Retirees receive bonuses for both Ramadan and Eid al-Adha every year. This year, holiday bonuses will also be paid in March and June.
16 MILLION RETIREES TO BENEFIT
Approximately 16 million retirees will benefit from the regulation. Those who become eligible for retirement as of March 1st will also be able to receive the holiday bonus.

AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated to the press that the amount of holiday bonuses paid to retirees for Ramadan and Eid al-Adha has been raised from 3,000 lira to 4,000 lira, taking into account budget balances.
In his statement, Güler said, “Under the instructions of our President, our Ministry of Treasury and Finance, our Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and our Vice President Cevdet Bey have completed the work on the determination of this rate. This rate was determined and included in our bill. Good luck to our budget and our retirees.”
