Furthermore, individuals obstructing the transport activities of others are subject to fines ranging from 25,000 Turkish Lira to 250,000 Turkish Lira. Traveling without a ticket or engaging in unauthorized transportation activities will result in fines ranging from 8,500 Turkish Lira to 85,000 Turkish Lira. Penalties up to 50,000 Turkish Lira will be imposed for violations related to the safe transportation of passengers and their belongings, failure to implement security measures, and any actions detrimental to the environment.

Operators failing to ensure passengers’ safe and comfortable travel, neglecting to follow necessary rules regarding their vehicles and drivers, or not taking measures against high-penalty drivers will face fines ranging from 8,500 Turkish Lira to 85,000 Turkish Lira. Proper penalties will be enforced on transporters neglecting necessary actions related to drivers with high penalty points, charging unauthorized fees, or not adhering to fees and schedules.

Furthermore, fines ranging from 8,500 Turkish Lira to 85,000 Turkish Lira will be applied to those not presenting the required information or documents for audits. Operators without the necessary professional qualification certificates may face fines too. Changes to the Highway Transport Law will come into effect six months after the publication of the law.
