Here are all the initiatives implemented for families…As part of the Family Year, programs have been launched for maternity aid, marriage loans, as well as travel and cultural activities.A variety of initiatives have been introduced under the 2025 Family Year…A financing support program has been put in place for young couples planning to marry.Under the project, interest-free credit support of 150,000 Turkish liras is being offered to young couples taking the first step towards building a family, with a grace period of 2 years and a 48-month repayment term.Over 50,000 applications have been made for marriage loans.For children born in 2025 and later, maternity aid of 5,000 Turkish liras will be provided for 60 months.A one-time payment of 5,000 liras will be made for the first child, monthly payments of 1,500 liras will be provided for the second child until the child reaches the age of 5, and a monthly payment of 5,000 liras will be granted for the third and subsequent children u ntil the child reaches the age of 5.Maternity aid applications will begin after the holiday.Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they will disclose the discount agreements made with special companies on home appliances and furniture for young people who want to start a family.Göktaş stated that protocols have been in place with leading companies in the sector and these will be announced in April.Work is being done on support for Togg for families buying their first car. Families with 3 or more children will be able to benefit from the First Car Domestic Automobile Family Support Program.The program aims to provide long-term financing opportunities compatible with the purchasing power of low-income groups.While it is stated that the Togg support is reaching its final stages, the date of its implementation has not been announced yet.Special discounts have been introduced for families and newlyweds on train journeys. Families can travel with a 15% discount if they buy a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 11 tickets. For couples married in 2025, the ‘Newlywed Fare’ will be introduced. With this initiative, newlywed couples will be able to buy train tickets with a 50% discount. Citizens can benefit from discounted rates from March 8.Discount rates for families have been increased on intercity bus companies.Companies will be able to apply a maximum discount rate of 40% for at least 2 and up to 4 passengers with the same surname or proven to be family members wanting to travel on the same vehicle and transportation line.Under the Family Year, Turkish Airlines has initiated a 15% discount on domestic flights.This initiative will be valid until the end of 2025. A discount on domestic flights will be available for at least 3 and up to 9 family members with the same surname included in the same reservation.Every Monday and Wednesday throughout 2025, cinema theaters that are members of the Cinema Hall Investors Association (SISAY) will offer discounts of up to 40% for families.
