An attempted infiltration was carried out by the Israeli army into the town of Dahira in southern Lebanon. Reports indicate that intense clashes took place during the attempt. According to a news report from the official Lebanese NNA agency, the Israeli army attempted to infiltrate the town of Dahira in the city of Tyre in the South Governorate of Lebanon amidst heavy air strikes on surrounding neighborhoods. It was reported that “intense clashes occurred between Israeli soldiers and resistance groups in the region” during the infiltration attempt. Moreover, Israeli warplanes were reported to have carried out air strikes on the neighborhoods of Harat Hreik and Haret Hreik in the southern suburb of Beirut. It was also reported that Israeli forces set up a booby trap with high explosives in the neighborhood of Et-Tarasah in Meys al-Jabal in the south of the country, and then detonated it, as well as demolished the Blida cemetery in the Bint Jbeil region with bulldozers.
