Attack on Israeli Fans in the Netherlands

In Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, fans of the Maccabi Tel Aviv team, who visited Ajax, were attacked after the match. Multiple Israelis were reported to have been injured.

During the 4th week of the UEFA Europa League, Ajax hosted Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Johan Cruijff Arena. With a 5-0 victory, Ajax reached 10 points and took the first place based on goal difference. Maccabi Tel Aviv, on the other hand, has yet to earn any points.

A group of Israeli fans who traveled to watch the match in the Netherlands were attacked. Israel announced that 10 people were injured and two planes were sent for the evacuation of the fans from the Netherlands.

The Israeli National Security Council called on Israelis abroad not to carry Israeli or Jewish symbols.

BEŞİKTAŞ MATCH TO BE PLAYED ON A NEUTRAL GROUND. In the UEFA Europa League, the match between Beşiktaş and Israeli representatives Maccabi Tel Aviv, which was supposed to be played in Istanbul on Thursday, November 28, has been moved to a neutral ground by UEFA’s decision. The country and stadium where the match will take place are expected to be determined by the weekend.

BASKETBALL MATCH WAS PLAYED IN SERBIA. Beşiktaş Basketball Team also played the match against the Israeli team Hapoel Shlomo not in Istanbul, but in Serbia as a neutral ground due to security reasons.
