Accordingly, it is expected that the April home care allowance payments will be deposited into accounts by April 15th. Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, announced that they have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion Turkish liras in Home Care Assistance for fully dependent citizens and their families being cared for at home this month.

Göktaş provided information that a monthly payment of 10,125 Turkish liras is made per eligible beneficiary under the Home Care Assistance scheme, stating: “We have started depositing a total of 5.4 billion Turkish liras in Home Care Assistance for fully dependent citizens and their families being cared for at home this month. An average of 544,000 citizens benefit from Home Care Assistance monthly. I wish all payments to be beneficial for all disabled citizens and their families. As the Ministry, we will continue our efforts to ensure that rights-based social assistance in the field of disability is sustainable with a transparent approach.”

The payments can be inquired through e-Government by logging in with a password and Turkish Republic ID number to the “Inquiry of Disabled Home Care Payment Information” tab. Additionally, inquiry can also be done via SMS. Those receiving payments from Ziraat Bank can query their status by sending an SMS with “BALANCE” to 4747.
