The Turkish Statistical Institute will announce the inflation data for the month of March today.
According to the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey, economists participating in the survey estimate that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.87 percent in March. Based on the average inflation expectations for March (2.87 percent), economists predict that the annual inflation rate, which was 39.05 percent in the previous month, will decrease to 38.66 percent. The inflation expectation for the end of 2025 as of March is 30.62 percent according to economists.
In February, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.27 percent on a monthly basis, while the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) rose by 2.12 percent. The annual inflation rate was 39.05 percent for consumer prices and 25.21 percent for domestic producer prices.
