In the US, there was weak support for President Trump’s stance on foreign trade policies. According to a survey, 60% of the participants opposed Trump’s policies. In a survey conducted by the Associated Press (AP)-NORC Public Relations Research Center on March 20-24, 1229 adult Americans participated. The participants evaluated Trump’s attitudes on various policies such as immigration, economy, trade, the Russia-Ukraine War, and the Israel-Palestine issue alongside his presidency. Results showed that 49% of the participants supported Trump’s immigration policies, while 50% did not. Regarding Trump’s stance on the Israel-Palestine issue, 54% of the participants disapproved while 44% approved. Meanwhile, as various countries reacted to Trump’s tariff decisions, 60% of the participants did not approve of the President’s stance on trade negotiations with other countries, while 38% did. Furthermore, 56% of the participants disagreed with Trump’s stance on the Russia-Ukraine War, while 41% supported it. The survey results revealed that 56% of the participants overall did not approve of Trump’s presidency, while 42% did.
