Reports indicate that an ambulance helicopter with 6 people on board crashed into the sea in Japan.
According to information from the Japan Coast Guard, the ambulance helicopter, en route from Tsushima Island in Nagasaki Prefecture to a hospital in Fukuoka Prefecture, lost contact approximately 10 minutes after takeoff, around 13:43.
Following the alert, a search operation was initiated along the flight path, and the helicopter was found overturned on the ocean surface. It was stated that 3 out of the 6 people on board were rescued alive from the scene. An 86-year-old female patient, her 68-year-old son accompanying her, and a 34-year-old male doctor were reported to have lost their lives. As there was no significant damage on the helicopter found in the sea, it is considered that the pilot attempted an emergency landing before the crash, leading to a detailed investigation into the incident.
