According to a report based on statements from French Prime Minister François Bayrou’s spokesperson on CNN International, the government is preparing to distribute a guide to every household to help French citizens be prepared for emergencies requiring security measures, including natural disasters, pandemics, and armed conflicts. The spokesperson emphasized that threats requiring preparation include natural disasters, technological and cyber events, health crises like Covid-19, and security crises such as terrorist attacks and armed conflicts. The spokesperson mentioned that the 20-page guide will be distributed before summer if approved by Prime Minister Bayrou. Similar guide programs have been implemented in Finland and Sweden.
