Airplane flying from the UK to India made an emergency landing in Diyarbakir

An aircraft traveling from London to India made an emergency landing at Diyarbakir Airport due to a passenger falling ill. The Virgin Atlantic Airways’ A350-1000 aircraft, operating the VIR-358 London-Mumbai route, landed urgently after a passenger fell ill. Following this, the plane had to land at Diyarbakir Airport at 18:35. Upon parking at the apron, the unwell passenger was treated by medical teams. The 262 passengers and 16 crew members on the aircraft with a bumpy landing were evacuated and taken to the customs area. The airline is planning an additional flight for the passengers. Technical inspections on the plane are ongoing by the airline’s technical team. Moreover, it was reported that there was no adverse impact on the flights planned at Diyarbakir Airport.
