The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, announced that 61 more medicines, including 58 domestically produced ones, have been added to the reimbursement list of the Social Security Institution (SGK).
A total of 61 more medicines have been included in the SGK’s reimbursement list.
In a social media post, Minister Vedat Işıkhan stated, “We are adding 61 more medicines, including 58 domestically produced ones, to the reimbursement list through the regulation made by our Social Security Institution. In order to provide more effective services to our citizens, we have included 397 medicines in the reimbursement scope during the months of January and October of this year.”
Indicating that the number of medicines on the reimbursement list has been increased to 8,786, Işıkhan expressed his hope that the medicines will bring healing to the patients and wished the citizens a healthy life. The post shared by Minister Vedat Işıkhan also mentioned that out of the 61 medicines added to the reimbursement list, 9 are for diabetes, 5 for antithrombotic treatment, 2 for Alzheimer’s, and 1 for chronic immune thrombocytopenia.
