The verified ad application aiming to prevent fake real estate ads will become mandatory starting from the new year. Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan stated that the application will also be implemented in automobile sales. Gürcan explained that the work is almost complete and the application will be launched in the coming months. The verified ad application will also be mandatory in automobile sales. In order to prevent misleading fake real estate ads, the verified ad application prepared will become mandatory from January. With the application, only individuals with verified TC identity numbers and authorized companies will be able to place ads. Those who want to post housing ads will need to verify their home via e-Government before accessing the real estate website, entering the information numbers of the real estate agent they want to advertise with. This application will soon be implemented in automobile sales as well. Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan commented on the matter, stating, “We are launching this system in the same way for cars. We have a project regarding posting the advertisement of your vehicle by accessing through e-Government. It is almost ready and will come into effect in the coming months.” Gürcan added that efforts to create a fair, competitive, and stable market structure in the automotive sector will continue.
