Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı will hold a press conference in Istanbul tomorrow on the topic “A New Era for Reliable Food.” According to the information received, Minister Yumaklı will provide information on the new system in the public announcement regarding establishments that commit imitation or adulteration starting at 10.00 tomorrow. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has recently made innovations in plant and animal health to ensure healthy and reliable food. Within this framework, regulations such as the banning of some plant protection products, residue control, tripling the number of vaccinations against foot-and-mouth disease, and putting veterinary road control stations into service have been implemented. Especially in the last year, while regulations regarding reliable food have been made in legislation, innovations such as the implementation of QR codes in food establishments have been put into effect.
