New regulations are being implemented to provide additional funding for defense industry investments. In this context, vehicle real estate transactions, notary procedures, and contributions from credit cards to the Defense Industry Support Fund will be introduced. Drones and watches with a customs value exceeding 5,000 TL will be included in the tax scope. To generate additional funds for defense industry investments, new regulations are being implemented. Stamp duty amounts from tax returns, customs declarations, and social security institution declarations will be levied, and half of the stamp duty amount from annual income tax returns will be collected. For real estate transactions, buyers and sellers will pay 750 TL each separately, while 375 TL will be charged for other transactions at the land registry and 75 TL for transactions at notaries. Fees for these transactions will vary based on the value of credit cards, with an annual charge of 750 TL for cards with a limit of 100,000 TL or more to contribute to the Defense Industry Support Fund. Additionally, drones and watches with a customs value exceeding 5,000 TL will be included in the scope of the Special Consumption Tax. AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler stated that these regulations involve service fees, not taxes. The Bill has been submitted to the Presidency of the Assembly.
