Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s (IMM) subsidiary company, Hamidiye A.S., has implemented a price increase of up to 17.85% on its water products. The price of a 19-liter water bottle has risen from 85 lira to 100 lira due to a 17.64% increase.

According to the new prices effective from today, the same brand of empty 19-liter water bottle for return increased from 85 lira to 100 lira with a 17.64% increase. The price of an empty glass 15-liter water bottle, five 4-liter pet water bottles, twelve 1.5-liter pet water bottles, twenty-four 0.5-liter pet water bottles, thirty 0.33-liter pet water bottles, and 60 cups of water increased from 112 lira to 132 lira with a 17.85% increase.

CURRENT PRICES WITH INCREASE IN EFFECT

A written statement from Hamidiye A.S. stated, “The price of natural spring water in bottles has increased from 85 lira to 100 lira as of October 30, with a 17% increase. While the price of the bottled water that costs 100 lira at our factory stores and new Kent Su points, is 70 lira when delivered to our homes.” It was noted that the price of the same brand of empty 19-liter water bottle for return was raised from 65 lira to 85 lira with a 30.76% increase on April 15th.
