In November, BOTAŞ made no changes in the tariff for natural gas used by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as for gas used in electricity generation. According to the tariff published on BOTAŞ’s website, the rates for residential and industrial subscribers and the tariff for electricity generation remained unchanged from November. The sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in November was announced as 5,631 Turkish liras per thousand cubic meters of natural gas. The tariff set for bread producers was determined at 8,549 Turkish liras per thousand cubic meters of natural gas. As for the tariff for electricity production, the price of one thousand cubic meters of natural gas was announced as 12,000 Turkish liras. Price tariffs for natural gas are calculated monthly. The announcement on the institution’s website stated, “When based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI), Turkey applies the lowest natural gas prices among European countries after Ukraine.”
