Confidence in the economy rose to 98 in October, marking the highest level in five months. The economic confidence index increased by 3.2% monthly to reach 98 in October. The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) released the economic confidence index data for October. Accordingly, the index, which was 95 in September, rose by 3.2% to 98 in October. During the same period, the consumer confidence index increased by 3% to 80.6. The real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index rose by 3% to 102.2. The service sector confidence index increased by 1.5% to 114.2, while the retail trade sector confidence index rose by 0.1% to 110.7, and the construction sector confidence index decreased by 1.7% to 86.3.
