Blinken stated, “There is a real sense of urgency for reaching a diplomatic solution for real security along the border between Israel and Lebanon and for the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.” He underscored that the implementation of this resolution is crucial for “people on both sides of the border to have the confidence to return to their homes.”
