3 Mins Read

Israel’s airstrikes in Lebanon continued. This time, the hospital’s parking lot was targeted. 4 people, including 1 child, were killed; 24 others were injured. It was reported that many civilians in the north of Gaza were killed, and their lifeless bodies were left on the side of the roads. It was announced that the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will embark on his 11th Middle East tour next week. The Israeli army continued its attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. This time, the parking lot of the Refik Hariri University Hospital in Beirut was targeted. Among the casualties were children, and over 20 people were injured. The Israeli army claimed that the targeted points were linked to Hezbollah. Warnings about the places to be hit were published before the attack.
However, the Refik Hariri University Hospital was not on that list. One of the 13 air strikes carried out in the capital targeted an area just 400 meters from the airport. News of an explosion came from Damascus, the capital of Syria. A car in the Mezze district was targeted with a guided missile.
The Mezze district hosts embassies and headquarters of security services. It was reported that the attack occurred near the Golden Mezze Hotel, an important building in the city center. An Israeli military spokesperson said that the head of a Hezbollah unit responsible for money transfers was killed in the attack in Damascus. Meanwhile, in the north of Gaza, Israel’s massacre once again manifested itself. The army besieged shelters where hospitals and civilians were located. This prevented humanitarian aid from reaching the Palestinians. Israeli soldiers gathered Palestinian men; women were instructed to leave the Jabalia Refugee Camp. However, in an attack on a house in the Jabalia Refugee Camp, many people were killed. Philippe Lazzarini, the head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees, wrote on his social media account that civilians trying to escape were killed, and their bodies were left on the streets.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit the Middle East for the 11th time. The aim of the upcoming visit, starting next week, will be to secure a ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza. On the other hand, the Israeli army stated that 77 rockets were fired from Lebanon to the north of the country, some of which were neutralized, while some fell in open areas. In a statement issued by the Israeli army, it was reported that 45 rockets fired from Lebanon landed in the Golan Heights in open areas, and while some of the 30 rockets fired at Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, and the Golan Heights were neutralized, some landed in open areas.
