Jean-Pierre revealed the latest updates on Biden’s postponed visits to Germany and Angola during the daily press briefing. She mentioned that Biden will focus on Ukraine during his meetings in Germany. The President is set to meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss both U.S.-Germany relations and support for Ukraine comprehensively. In the first week of December, Biden will travel to Angola to underscore the importance of U.S.-Africa relations in his first visit to Africa as President. Biden had delayed his trips to Germany and Angola in order to monitor the efforts in the states affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton and visit those areas.
