Positive trends continue in cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin rose by nearly 2%, surpassing $68,000 and reaching its highest level in 2.5 months. Ethereum also crossed the $2,600 mark. The upward trend in the crypto markets persists as Bitcoin saw a close to 2% increase today, reaching $68,270. This figure marks its highest level since August. The weekly increase in Bitcoin is approaching 9%. Ethereum also traded above $2,600. The rise in the market was influenced by expectations of a soft landing for the US economy and strengthening speculations about Trump winning the presidency. The countdown has begun for the US presidential race. Predictions show that crypto-friendly Republican candidate Donald Trump is ahead of Democrat rival Kamala Harris before the elections on November 5th. Meanwhile, the new crypto project World Liberty Financial, supported by the Trump family, was launched. Presidential candidate Donald Trump shared his thoughts on token sales, stating, “Crypto is the key to the future. Let’s embrace this amazing technology and lead in the digital economy.” The initial sales of the new WLFI tokens on the platform fell significantly short of the projected target, with only 3.4% achieved out of the targeted $300 million token sales.
