Reports indicate that 23 people were killed and 31 others injured in the evening attacks launched by the Israeli army on the south and east of Lebanon. According to the official news agency NNA of Lebanon, 18 individuals lost their lives and at least 15 others were wounded in the attacks carried out by Israeli warplanes in different parts of the southern region. In the air raid conducted by Israel on the Zahle district of the Bekaa governorate in eastern Lebanon, 5 people including 3 children died and 16 others were injured. Since the controlled clashes with Hezbollah started on October 8, 2023, the Israeli army has been conducting hundreds of air strikes on several southern cities in Lebanon, as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions on September 23. According to data from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, a total of 2,350 people, including 104 children and 194 women, have died since October 8, 2023, and 10,906 individuals have been wounded. Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah was killed in the air strikes carried out by the Israeli army on Beirut on September 27. In response, Hezbollah has been retaliating with rockets and missiles against Israel. These attacks by Hezbollah mostly target military bases and have reportedly not caused significant damage on the Israeli side. It is estimated that hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced in Lebanon due to the Israeli bombardment. As a wave of migration continues from the southern regions of the country to the capital Beirut and the north, the Lebanese government announced that more than 456,000 of the displaced individuals have sought refuge in Syria.
