Decision made on “rape gang” targeting high school girls

2 Mins Read

In the United Kingdom, 35-year-old Anthony Anantharajah, 31-year-old Abalzaq Salih, and 32-year-old Saif Kahya, who sexually abused 4 high school students, aged 14 to 16, were sentenced to a total of 44 years in prison. The 3 defendants in Plymouth were found guilty of raping the girls by giving them alcohol and drugs to exploit them. Horrifying details emerged when one of the victims watched BBC’s series “Three Girls” about the Rochdale abuse scandal and spoke to the police.

The scandal at a house party organized by malicious individuals caused a sensation in the British press. Prosecutor Dan Pawson-Pounds described how the predators drugged and incapacitated the rape victims at their most vulnerable moment. One victim recounted waking up to find the assailant raping her, while it was revealed that a 15-year-old girl was also abused after fainting. The fourth victim, who was 16 at the time of the incident, was determined to have been raped by another pervert at the same house party. One victim said, “I couldn’t speak for a few days after the rape. I went into shock. I felt numb. I was certain I had been raped but struggled to clarify the images. At one point, I wanted to end my life, so I wouldn’t have to face what happened every day.”

Another victim abused by 35-year-old Anthony Anantharajah stated, “I will never forget what Anthony did to me. I will never forget his face, his smell, and losing my respect for my own body.” Despite the perpetrators denying the rape charges, the court decided to sentence the 3 defendants to a total of 44 years in prison.
