Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to hold a “security meeting” to discuss the response to Iran and the current situation in Lebanon. According to reports in the local press, the meeting chaired by Netanyahu is scheduled to take place at 8:30 PM local time. It has been stated that the meeting will address both the response to Iran’s missile attack and the situation in Lebanon. The Israeli security cabinet had previously convened last week under Netanyahu’s leadership to discuss the response to Iran, but no conclusion was reached. Iran launched a missile attack on Israel on October 1st. The Tel Aviv administration had announced that there would be a response to this attack by Iran.
