In their joint statement, the Foreign Ministers of Italy, France, Germany, and the UK expressed deep concern over the recent attacks by the Israeli army on UNIFIL bases, resulting in the injury of numerous peacekeeping troops.

The statement emphasized the need for “These attacks to be stopped immediately. We condemn any threat to the security of UNIFIL. Any deliberate attack on the mission in Lebanon violates international humanitarian law and Security Council Resolution 1701.”
