The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that agricultural support payments amounting to 185,799,000 liras have been transferred to the accounts of farmers. In a statement on the Ministry’s social media account, it was stated, “We have transferred a total of 185,799,000 liras of agricultural support payments to our farmers’ accounts. May it be beneficial and blessed.” The details of the support payment were also shared in the post. According to the breakdown, 94,111,000 liras were allocated for animal disease compensation, 45,321,000 liras for rural development investments, 37,525,000 liras for individual irrigation systems, 7,871,000 liras for certified seed production, 417,435 liras for certified seed usage, 222,400 liras for animal genetic resource support, and 331,165 liras for good agricultural practices.
