Israeli Strikes Target Hezbollah in Beirut: “Headquarters Chief Suheyl Husseini Killed”

The Israeli army once again struck the Lebanese capital Beirut overnight. Warplanes supported the ground operation in southern Lebanon. An announcement by the army confirmed the killing of Hezbollah Headquarters Chief Suheyl Husseini.

Israeli forces declared that warplanes supported the ground operation in southern Lebanon. 120 Hezbollah targets in the south were struck from the air.

It was revealed that Hezbollah Headquarters Chief Suheyl Husseini was killed in the operations.

The army also announced that 2 Israeli soldiers died in the clashes. According to the Israeli army, the number of Israeli military personnel killed in the Lebanese operation rose to 11.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that around 2,000 people have died since October 7 last year.

HEZBOLLAH COUNTERS WITH ROCKETS

Hezbollah responded to Israeli attacks with rocket fire. The port city of Haifa was once again a target, as it was yesterday. Some of the 190 rockets launched by Hezbollah bypassed the Iron Dome missile defense system and hit their targets. Reports of injured Israelis emerged. Tel Aviv was also targeted by rockets overnight. While warning sirens blared, the missile defense systems neutralized the rockets.
