Humanitarian access blocked while critical supplies remain stranded outside the enclave
July 23 — More than 100 humanitarian and human rights organizations are calling for urgent international action as hunger intensifies across Gaza. In a joint statement, 111 groups — including Mercy Corps, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and Refugees International — demanded an immediate and permanent ceasefire along with the removal of all barriers obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The coalition warned that widespread starvation is escalating, despite vital supplies such as food, water, and medical equipment stockpiled just outside Gaza’s borders. Aid workers say access restrictions are preventing life-saving assistance from reaching civilians in desperate need.
