Overseas investors purchased stock worth $206 million last week. At the same time, bond sales amounted to $444 million. The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has released its “Weekly Securities Statistics.” According to the report, foreign residents bought a net of $206.2 million in stocks during the week of September 27, while selling $10.6 million in assets from sectors excluding General Government (GG) and $443.9 million in Domestic Government Bonds (DGB). The stock of stocks held by foreign residents outside the country, which was $34.892.1 billion as of September 20, decreased to $34.050.2 billion on September 27. Meanwhile, during the same period, the stock of DGB held by foreign residents decreased from $16.200.1 billion to $15.968.3 billion, and the stock of GG assets decreased from $293.4 million to $280.7 million.
