Iran carried out a missile attack on Israel. According to Iranian sources, close to 500 missiles were fired, including some that exceeded the speed of sound. Iranian missiles were seen in the skies of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The attack on Israel was announced by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah, and Iranian general Abbas Nilfuraşan in Israeli attacks. The Revolutionary Guards warned that if there is any retaliation to the attack, a “devastating response” will be given. The Israeli army declared, “This was a serious attack, there will be consequences. We will respond appropriately.” The Iranian missiles were spotted in the skies over Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
