Turkey’s Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) has expanded its oil exploration license area in Bingol, Elazig, and Diyarbakir by adding a 15,153-hectare field. The announcement regarding this was published in the Official Gazette by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Accordingly, TPAO’s 23 oil exploration licenses in Bingol, Elazig, and Diyarbakir will now include an additional 15,153 hectares of land.
