Trump also mentioned that he had spoken to Apple CEO Tim Cook and said that he had “helped him” by exempting some electronic products imported from China from tariffs. Using the words, “I don’t want to harm anyone, but ultimately we will achieve a great success for our country,” Trump defended that trade policies would strengthen the US in the long run.
