In Gaza, where Israeli attacks continue unabated, scenes of fleeing once again emerged from some areas. Some bakeries were forced to close down because Israel did not allow aid deliveries.
The view in Gaza did not change during the holiday. Scenes of fleeing from some areas of Rafah, where the Israeli army issued evacuation orders, were captured on camera.
One of the displaced Palestinians said, “How can this happen on a holiday? While people celebrate the holiday with new clothes and their families, we are forced to flee.” With Israel blocking aid deliveries, food shortages are increasingly being felt throughout Gaza.
FINDING BREAD IS GETTING HARDER In Jabalia, in the north of the Strip, queues are forming outside the United Nations food aid center. Due to the inability to find flour and fuel, some bakeries throughout Gaza are being forced to close down. Finding bread in the city is becoming increasingly difficult.
